# Trader Tracker

The **Trader Tracker** lets you follow specific Polymarket traders, organize them into color-coded groups, and monitor their live trading activity.

## How to Add a Trader

Every comment in Polymarket markets gets a small track button next to the timestamp. Click it to add that trader to your Tracker and assign them to a group.

***

## Groups

Organize tracked traders into custom named groups with color labels. You can:

* Create up to multiple groups
* Rename or recolor groups
* Delete groups (as long as at least one group remains)

Each group shows member avatars and the trader count.

***

## Trader Size Tiers

Traders are automatically classified by position size:

| Tier     | Size              |
| -------- | ----------------- |
| 🐋 WHALE | ≥ $50,000         |
| MID      | $10,000 – $50,000 |
| SMALL    | $1,000 – $10,000  |

***

## Live Activity Feed

When a tracked trader makes a move, you see:

* BUY or SELL
* Dollar amount
* Market and outcome
* Timestamp

A visual bar shows the buy/sell split for each trader.

***

## Works With Comments Filter

Tracked traders appear in the [Comments Filter](/polyhelper-docs/analytics-tools/comments-filter.md) dropdown — letting you filter market comments to show only their posts.

***

## Markets Where This Feature Activates

Trader Tracker works across all Polymarket markets — it's a global tool, not market-specific.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://polyhelper.gitbook.io/polyhelper-docs/analytics-tools/trader-tracker.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
